Climate change is increasingly accepted as a major issue facing the Nepalese people. The Initial National Communication (INC, 2004) of Nepal to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and a range of recent studies show that Nepal is highly vulnerable to the potential negative impacts of climate change.
